Fujitsu Standardizes on Mentor Graphics Resolution Enhancement Technology Solutions

WILSONVILLE, Ore.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 25, 2002--Mentor Graphics Corporation (Nasdaq:MENT) today announced that Fujitsu Limited has adopted the Mentor Graphics® resolution enhancement technology (RET) software tool, Calibre OPCpro(TM), for both model-based optical and process correction (OPC) and a new rule-based solution, table-driven OPC.

Fujitsu will use Calibre OPCpro for 0.09 micron process products.

Table-driven OPC enables a very fast single command execution of complex rule-based OPC by using a concise table description of rules and an optimized hierarchical algorithm. Combining these rule-and model-based OPC technologies provides a flexible, easy-to-use solution with both high accuracy and optimal performance.
